Events Through The Year

Clean Space, Happy Place

Spring cleaning provides an excellent opportunity to declutter and give back to your community by donating unwanted items in good condition. Our mental health is severely impacted by clutter, so organizing our closets and making room for the upcoming seasons may be a long-term stress reliever as well as a cathartic experience. Generosity encourages constructive behavior and a feeling of direction. We investigate several methods that assist in locating donation locations and educating people about the needs of the community as part of our spring-cleaning campaign.

Event takes place every Spring Cleaning Season: April to May

Autism Awareness Acceptance

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder caused by differences in the brain that affects communication and behavior. Individuals with ASD may behave, communicate, interact, and learn differently from others, but often times there is nothing about how someone’s appearances that would set them apart from others. People with ASD can vary, some have advanced conversation skills whereas others may be nonverbal. Some may need tremendous assistance in their daily lives, while others live with little to no support.

April comes around every year, and it is a wonderful month to listen to autistic voices and their stories and struggles because acceptance is going to promote more inclusivity. The month of April is to educate and inform others about autism. Every person is special in their own right and we as people should educate ourselves on what we do not know and become more open minded and receptive to learning and acceptance.

House of P0P Foundation has been a proud supporter of Autism Awareness Acceptance and every year we as a team host a softball game to raise awareness and financial funding to support programs and schools dedicated to special needs. It is a beautiful sight to see people come together for the good of others. In a world that is forever changing, support remains constant. Our community comes together and celebrating and accepting differences as we play a game of Softball in support of an entire community.

Education

It's a fact that principles and beliefs that influence our behaviors and decisions are referred to as values. They reflect what we value and what we hope to achieve in life.

Education begins at home. One of the most important aspects of parenting is teaching values to children since it helps them build their character, morals, and ethics. Oftentimes these lessons must also be taught to adults who need a little extra assistance.

Compassion is one of the skills to instill in everyone. Compassion is the emotion of empathy and concern for others who are in pain or in need. Compassion encourages us to be more empathetic, generous, and philanthropic. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us with the library project for a local special needs school here on Staten Island…

You may spend your whole life competing with others, trying to prove that you are somebody and still feel like nobody. You don’t have to prove your worth to anyone. You were created for a purpose; your life has meaning, and when you develop the self-confidence to follow your heart and your dreams, you are now competing with yourself to become the very best version of yourself—no one else.

Sometimes, we may doubt ourselves or feel some sense of fear, but the truth is, you are more powerful than you think. We must retrain ourselves to eliminate our fears and self-doubt and build our self-esteem and self-confidence. This can be achieved through reading more as needed old teach us to expand our views in life.

Thank you everyone who continue to help us bring these projects to life and expand our abilities to build within our community.

Imagine a world where everyone is seen, heard, and embraced for who they are. In this world, there are unique challenges faced by a group of people, individuals with autism, and their families. Navigating life for them is like climbing a hill with no end in sight, requiring special care, resources and understanding. That’s where the magic of autism fundraising comes in.

Don’t forget, fundraising isn’t just about gathering money; it’s about making sure people come together to explore the possibilities of support in the community, to create opportunities and services that serve a unique purpose. Some may help with communication, others with learning, and more with social interactions.

Thanks to successful fundraising efforts, there has been and continues to be real change in support services. The goal is to create a community where everyone has access to the support they need, where no one feels left behind.

Sponsors

Our current available sponsorship packages.

Everything is possible when we all come together to create change in the world and help those less fortunate build and live a healthy lifestyle.

Proper medical care is of high priority, but for many it has become a struggle due to the lack of accessible health care, lack of necessary medical supplies, lack of available physicians due to the lack of funding provided to clinics.

To ALL our sponsors, present, past, & future: Thank you for being an important part of our story. We have so many wonderful people in our lives. We hope that you have a wonderful time at our event and we look forward to sharing many more happy occasions with you all for years to come. This world is a better place because of generous people like you, and for that we are eternally grateful.

Winter Gala

The International Women’s Day Charity Winter Gala is dedicated to celebrating women of many cultural backgrounds and highlighting the importance women play in the business world.

Never forget that you are talented, and you are incredible as yourself. There is a market for you, so be authentic because it is the greatest asset you have in life and business. So rather than trying to fit in, stand out. Build your team of super supportive people and come up together.

In our celebration, we are also raising funds to help purchase necessary medical supplies for clinics located in small villages facing financial hardship with little to no government funding in many countries in the Balkans. In addition, this year we are also assisting the Medical Program at the High School in Ulqin, Montenegro where the students require the necessary material to study medicine.

Furthermore, due to recent weather conditions floods have impacted many families throughout Kosovo who are in need of help. So, this year our efforts will extend to families impacted by all the flooding caused by severe rainfall. People are facing many uncertainties adding to the already existing hardship. With your help we can minimize the hardship by providing home necessities such as food, clothing and if necessary shelter as families try to regain their stability by fighting through the storms.

We are grateful and honored to have the continued support of our sponsors as we welcome new ones into the fold.
